Welcome

Hebe’s Wood is a 45 acre site in Rutland, UK. It used to be three fields, a plantation of about 12 acres planted around 1995, and Bushy Wood, an ancient coppice wood. In the last 10 years or so the three fields have not been farmed, and already there are 20 foot trees and other woodland plants reclaiming the ancient woodland ground.
Our aim is to help nature reclaim this corner of Leighfield Forest. We would welcome your participation in our project.
